Overview
Reflecting on fond memories of a home I once envisioned with a friend, this project is inspired by our discussions about living arrangements. My friend values personal space, often described as an "I" personality in modern terms. Instead of a traditional yard, we imagined a more private courtyard-style single-family house, emphasizing the need for individual rooms.
Design Features
One of the key features of this house is the kitchen design, as my friend was passionate about cooking and desired a separation between the dining room and the kitchen. This attention to detail is reflected in the kitchen's interior and layout, ensuring it is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
The first floor accommodates frequent guests, featuring a guest room, living area, kitchen, dining room, and a small bathroom, alongside my personal space. Upstairs, I created a private sanctuary for my friend, complete with individual rooms, a shared space, a dressing room, and a spacious bathroom equipped with a bathtub.
This house, crafted with the cherished memories of our conversations, is a labor of love and represents my most heartfelt project.
